Snow Jazz Gastein „off-Beat“ from the 7th to the 16th March 2008
Snow Jazz is like a tightrope walk “on the highest level”, between thermal waters and skiing pleasure, the breathtaking landscape of the Gasteiner valley and contemporary Jazz. Over the past years the festival can boast having featured such stars as: Jane Monheit, Esbjörn Svensson, Greetje Bijma, Beady Belle, Viktoria Tolstoy, Bob Mintzer, Norma Winstone and David Liebman, now having attained international importance.
The theme for this year is – “off-Beat”, it stands for Percussion Instruments.
Vibraphon, Percussion, Stepdance with musicians from the Orient, South America, Europe and the USA will entertain you.
